Our Story

We became acquainted with our first client in February 2018. She had suffered an unfortunate medical event at the age of 45 and did not have the financial resources to meet her personal needs. Working with her showed us a huge gap in our healthcare system in the United States. Those who have not opted for long term health insurance and have not paid a significant amount in to social security (this describes most adults in the United States) are not likely to have the resources to cover medical expenses in the case of significant disability prior to the age of 65. Peer Support Network was created to help bridge the gap by providing both financial and material resources using a peer to peer platform to ensure a higher quality of life for those affected by acquired disability.

Mission

Peer Support Network exists to aid in improving the quality of life for adults between the ages of 18 and 65 years with acquired disabilities. Support is provided through financial, material, and time donations, utilizing a peer to peer platform, and is based on individual needs.

Vision

To develop a network of individuals committed to enabling a higher quality of life for individuals and families suffering from acquired disabilities who are unable to meet their own financial and material needs.
