Holding a Doctorate of Medicine and a Master’s in Healthcare Administration, Debra is passionate about ensuring equal access to healthcare for all and educating others on health-related issues. Originally a midwestern gal — born and raised in Indiana — Debra resides in the District of Columbia with her husband, their two sons and a small menagerie of pets: three dogs, a miniature pig and a bearded dragon. On the weekends, you can find Debra practicing Pilates, playing piano or spending time with family and friends.

Deward "Dewey" HouckCFO & Board Member
After studying geology and geophysics in his undergraduate and graduate education, Dewey joined the U.S. Navy where he was admitted to the Naval Nuclear Power Program. Eventually retiring with the rank of Commander, Dewey went on to attend law school and now owns and operates his own practice, California Estate Planning and Probate in Lakeside, Calif. In his free time, Dewey enjoys researching genealogy, getting use out of his private pilot license, and volunteering for local nonprofits.

Megan HurleyBoard Member
Megan is a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) survivor and author of Hope Survives: Strength After a Traumatic Brain Injury, a book chronicling her TBI recovery journey. Prior to her accident in 2008, Megan was a high school English teacher and college admissions counselor. That passion for teaching and community outreach is what now drives Megan’s work with PSN and the San Diego Brain Injury Foundation. Megan also enjoys instructing Zumba Fitness and World of Dance U-Jam Fitness classes.

A bedside nurse of three decades, Janice is devoted to helping others and giving back to the community. She’s been married for 26 years and has four adult children of whom she’s very proud. For fun, Janice enjoys going on walks, working in her yard and hanging out with her family.

As a Neurologist and medical educator, Sarah was happy to join PSN in 2020 to help grow the community. Originally from Michigan, Sarah, her spouse and two children have called San Diego home since 2015. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys swimming, biking, reading and playing tabletop board games.

As a healthcare administrator, Amy possesses a passion for helping those in need and joined PSN in 2020 to do just that. She resides in San Diego with her daughter and provides care for her aging parents. In her time off, there’s a good chance you can find her hiking and exploring nature.
